Ottawa Senators general manager Steve Staios will address the media on Friday after the team’s season came to a close earlier this week.
The Senators finished second last in the Atlantic Division with a 37-36-16 record following a 3-1 win Tuesday night over the Boston Bruins.
Staios joined the Senators as president of hockey operations on Sept 29 then took over as general manager when former GM Pierre Dorion was fired on Nov. 1.
This is the fifth straight season that Ottawa has missed the playoffs.
