Pittsburgh Pirates top prospect Paul Skenes is set to make his MLB debut on Saturday against the Chicago Cubs, the team announced Wednesday.
The righty has been sensational at triple-A Indianapolis this season, putting up a 0.99 ERA in seven starts and mowing down 45 batters in 27.1 innings.
He was selected by the Pirates first overall in the 2023 MLB Amateur Draft.
