Isn’t this what the Stanley Cup Playoffs are all about?

The Vancouver Canucks, down 4-1 at one point, overcame a three-goal deficit in the third period to take Game 1 over the Edmonton Oilers in wild fashion. Goals by Nikita Zadorov and Conor Garland sealed the Canucks’ first three-goal comeback in the post-season since the 1994 Conference Finals.

This is the second time this post-season that the Canucks have rallied from being down multiple goals in the third period to eventually take the game — the first being the Round 1, Game 4 victory in Nashville.

This all-Canadian series was hyped by hockey fans before the puck even hit the ice, but their second-round opener more than lived up to expectations. Here are some of the best reactions to the wild Game 1 finish.
