Right winger Jakub Voráček is calling it a career in the NHL after playing for 15 seasons, the NHL confirmed on Wednesday.

The one-time All-Star made the decision public when speaking to Czech news outlet CNN Prima News.

Voráček, 34, played 1,058 games in the NHL. His first three and final two seasons were spent with the Columbus Blue Jackets, who drafted him seventh overall in 2007, while the middle 10 seasons were with the Philadelphia Flyers. In 2022, Voráček was traded to the Arizona Coyotes but he never suited up for the team as he spent most of his time on LTIR due to concussion-related health concerns.

Voráček racked up 806 career regular-season points (223 goals, 583 assists) and 28 playoff points. His most productive season game in 2017-18 when Voráček finished with 85 points (20 goals, 65 assists).
