Drake bets $450K on Jones to knock out Miocic

Will Jon “Bones” Jones be the next victim of Drake’s betting curse?

The Canadian hip hop star posted Friday on social media that he has wagered $450,000 on Jones to knock out Stipe Miocic during Saturday’s UFC 309 main event.

Drake also bet — and lost — $355,000 on Mike Tyson to defeat Jake Paul. The 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer beat 58-year-old Tyson via unanimous decision after eight rounds Friday night.

Earlier this year, Drake wagered $500,000 on the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup Final and an equal amount on the Dallas Mavericks to win the NBA Finals. Neither team captured their respective championship with the Oilers falling in seven games to the Florida Panthers and the Mavericks losing in five to the Boston Celtics.

He also placed a $300,000 bet on Canada beating Argentina in the Copa America semifinals. Canada lost 2-0.
