David Costabile To Reprise Daniel Hardman Role On NBC Spinoff

Where Harvey Specter goes, Daniel Hardman is not far behind. Deadline has confirmed that David Costabile, who played recurring villain Daniel Hardman on Suits, will reprise his role in a Season 1 episode of NBC‘s Suits LA.

It is unclear whether he would overlap with the two Suits OGs that are making a return, Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter and Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt, but given how few episodes are left in the season, that is likely.

Daniel Hardman, co-founder of Pearson Hardman, spent years trying to take back control of the firm after being removed for embezzling money, often going head-to-head with Harvey. He appeared in Seasons 2,4,5 and 8 of the original series.

Suits LA is centered on Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself by representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.

The series also stars Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, Bryan Greenberg, Troy Winbush, Rachelle Goulding, Azita Ghanizada, Maggie Grace and Alice Lee.

The news of Costabile’s casting was first reported by Variety.
