Bobby and Peter Farrelly are back with a sleigh full of yuletide craziness with Paramount Plus‘s first-ever original Christmas movie, Dear Santa. Get ready because this is no ordinary movie about Saint Nick.

Dear Santa flips the holiday movie trope about a kid sending a Christmas wish list to Santa Claus. Thanks to a fit of dyslexia, young Liam (Robert Timothy Smith) accidentally sent his letter to Asmodeus (aka Satan), played by Jack Black. All sorts of chaos ensues as the Devil offers to grant three wishes before taking the boy’s soul. Talk about Christmas cheer!

It’s been a decade since Dumb and Dumber To hit theaters, which marked the last time the Farrelly Brothers partnered up on a comedy together. Considering how wild their past movies have been, something tells me this one will cause plenty of knee slaps.

Starring alongside Black and Smith are Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, Post Malone, P.J. Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker and Kai Cech. Dear Santa will be featured in Paramount Plus’ annual Season For Streaming holiday collection and will be available to purchase on digital the same day.

The Farrelly Brothers’ holiday outing hits Paramount Plus on Monday, Nov. 25, for audiences residing in the US and Canada. For international viewers, Paramount Plus stated, “additional international Paramount+ market premiere dates will be announced at a later time.”

Paramount Plus implemented a price increase over the summer, changing the monthly fees for the Paramount Plus Essential and Paramount Plus with Showtime plans. Essential now costs $8 a month and Paramount Plus with Showtime costs $13 a month. If you want to pay yearly, the annual prices remain unchanged. Essential still costs $60 a year and Paramount Plus with Showtime costs $120 a year.

If you’re having a tough time picking either Paramount Plus Essential or Paramount Plus with Showtime, let us help. Essential is the cheaper ad-supported option and gives some access to live TV. Paramount Plus with Showtime will cost you more, and for good reason. You’ll have limited ads when watching live TV, along with access to Showtime, your local live CBS station and the ability to download titles.
