Report: Grizzlies’ Ja Morant returning to lineup Monday

NBA insider Chris Haynes reports that Ja Morant will return to the Grizzlies lineup after injuries sidelined him for eight games.

Morant suffered a right hip subluxation and pelvic muscle strains after a hard fall against the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 6.

Before his injury, Morant averaged 20.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per game this season.

The Memphis squad is struggling with injuries all around as GG Jackson, Vince Williams Jr. and Canadian rookie Zach Edey are all listed as out for Monday’s game.

The Grizzlies are 10-7 so far with a two-game win streak.
