It is early in the process for class of 2027 four-star wide receiver Myles McAfee, but several programs have already offered the top-100 prospect a scholarship, with many other schools involved in his recruitment as well.
The Archbishop Spalding High School (Severn, Md.) athlete is coming off of a visit with Virginia this past weekend, where he was able to see the Cavaliers improve to 4-1 overall on the 2024 season after defeating Boston College by a final score of 24-14.
Virginia is yet to offer McAfee, but he is squarely on UVA’s radar and it would not be surprising to see the young wide receiver earn a scholarship offer from the Cavaliers in the near future.
McAfee spoke with Rivals.com to detail his trip to Charlottesville, and he also discussed his previous trip to Penn State and his upcoming visits he has on the schedule.
McAfee’s trip to Virginia on Oct. 4 left a strong impression on him, and he knows that the Cavaliers are looking to add talented playmakers like him in the future to continue the program’s upward trajectory.
“The Virginia visit was super fun,” McAfee said. “They showed love from the beginning to the end. I like that they are going to search for the new, next talent (to join the program).”
