The Galaxy S24 series offers improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series, including more efficient batteries, brighter screens, higher-quality cameras and all-around better specs that have vastly improved the phone’s performance. Most notably, these phones are among the first to include generative AI capability directly in the device itself. That means you’ll be able to use generative AI services anywhere, even when the device is offline. The phones are powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which means performance for on-device AI should be both fast and dependable.

How we choose the best Galaxy S24 deals at CNET

Many of our deals experts here at CNET have provided coverage for deals on top tech for over five years, including cell phone deals from popular brands like Samsung, Apple, Google and more. Our combined experience has helped us learn how to discern standout deals from trustworthy retailers and carriers so that you can take advantage of the best offer. Whether there are direct discounts, trade-in offers or other bonuses on deck, we help you compare the best deals for both unlocked and carrier phones to help simplify your phone buying experience and avoid lackluster deals and online shopping scams.

The three models of the Galaxy S24 are available in various storage configurations. US pricing for each model is as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy S24 price: $860
  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus price: $1,000
  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra price: $1,420

That puts the Ultra at $220 more expensive than the S23 Ultra was at launch but it has a titanium frame this time around, which may account for the extra cost.

In terms of configuration upgrades, the S24 remains the same as its predecessor with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The S24 Plus has 12GB of RAM, which is up from 8GB in the S23 Plus, and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Ultra also sports an upgraded 12GB of RAM and is available with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus come in yellow, violet, gray and black at retailers. If you order directly from Samsung, you will also be able to order green, blue and orange hues.
