Editorial: Science is A Beautiful Gift to Humanity

Former president of India as well as one of the all-time great scientists, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam said “Science is a beautiful gift to humanity; we should not distort it.

Indeed, this is one of my most favorite quotes that I have came across throughout my entire life.

Love, faith, peace, and cooperation are the four songs of life that keep humanity alive, while sustainable science shows the ultimate path to upgrade the living experiences. Sustainable science completely boycotts its distorted applications in the war for religion, land, and power, rather science should be used properly to build a beautiful world and prepare the best infrastructure for fighting against external disasters.

The Beginning of the Journey

The journey of SynnBiob Science Magazine has been started at a time when the world is trying to fight back against the deadly Coronavirus, a disaster that could have been destroyed the planet. One year back, in March 2020, science wasn’t ready to face the disaster. Lockdown seized every motion, dropped the economy, mankind became helpless. Only nature had the hidden remedy and science was the path to uncover that.

The COVID-19 vaccine has been discovered finally after the restless effort by the scientists, the world is getting back to its own rhythm slowly but steadily. We must acknowledge, it’s only the power of science that showed us the light of new hope, no religion can do it, no war can do it.

The matter of COVID-19 and its vaccine is just the pieces of small examples; however, science is far more efficient to provide us a healthy and sustainable world that has been proven several times in the past. Definitely, we should not distort it but we should promise to promote science together.

Unfortunately, Most of the Scientific Information Remain Unknown to Many…

Thousands of research reports are being published every year in tons of international scientific journals. Several among those are basic findings, while others represent better alternatives to the previous approaches. The top listed researches that represent the gateway to the new discovery often remain unknown to most people. The final applications of the initial discovery reach the common people after several modifications, but they never know the pioneering personality behind the application. This is unfair for the scientists as well as for the science itself.

As an example, common people consume medicines every day, but the initiation and the hard works behind the medicines remain unknown to most people. There are many more similar examples.

It’s not only the common people but also the researchers and scientists from a specific field often skip (or miss) the top scientific findings from another field. Definitely, there are reasons; scientists are highly focused on their area of research, so they follow only the related publications. Research papers generally contain in-depth discussions on specific topics that don’t attract researchers from another field. Eventually, most of the time inter-disciplinary researches remains uncovered between one-another.

Science Is A Beautiful Gift to Us, It Needs Proper Exploration

We believe, science can be developed in a faster way and applied properly when science will receive more interest from the common people. Increasing interest in science within the society will not only motivate them to innovate something new but this will also help people to think about a better world (I’m not discussing this matter here).

Secondly, spreading interdisciplinary researches to the whole scientific community will undoubtfully enrich science by increasing the number of collaborations and interdisciplinary scientists.

Research papers are far tough and boring things that most researchers avoid reading the research details of another field; so, as expected common people will never love to taste those complicated research papers. But everyone digests an informative article that has been represented in a simple way, either for increasing personal knowledge or for spending off time.

The Goal of SynnBiob Science Magazine

The aim of SynnBiob Science Magazine is to deliver scientific information to every people in a simple and attractive way so that people can enjoy the beauty of science. Initially, we are not dealing with all the science streams, rather we have adopted two main-stream subjects to deliver informative science articles, Chemical Sciences and Biology/Life Sciences.

All the sub-categories of Chemical Sciences (Synthetic, Medicinal, Phytochemical, Organometallics, Material sciences, Computational, etc.) and Biology/Life Sciences (Immunology, Animal behavior, Cell biology, Molecular biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, etc.), and interdisciplinary topics, such as biochemistry, biophysics, etc. will be covered throughout the year (based on urgency) in alternate issues.

We have planned to include the following areas in SYNNBIOB Science Magazine in an organized way:

  • Top class discoveries of the month.
  • Scientific Information and facts.
  • Animal behavior.
  • Science educational chapters.
  • The technique to grow children’s interest in science.
  • Scientific Start-up suggestions.
  • Others.

We just started our journey. Not everything could be covered in the first issue that is publishing on 8 March 2021 (International Women’s Day). We shall be improving in every upcoming issue and add more areas for discussion as per demand.

Presently, a number of personalities from different scientific fields have shown interest to share their scientific knowledge in SYNNBIOB Science Magazine. If you are an interested author from any of the above-mentioned science backgrounds, we encourage you to submit your article for the upcoming issues.

You may proceed through the following link to submit your article (or contact directly via email, support@synnbiob.com).
