Remy Gordon and Kami Carpenter have been found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court of murdering Cody Fisher in a nightclub knife attack on Boxing Day 2022.

The 23-year-old was stabbed in the chest inside the Crane nightclub in Digbeth, Birmingham, just before midnight on Boxing Day in 2022.

Birmingham Crown Court heard his accused Gordon sent messages to his friends on Snapchat asking to help identify Mr Fisher in photograph and to ‘shank him up’.

Jurors were told Gordon was ‘set on retribution’ because Mr Fisher had refused to apologise when he accidentally touched his back while trying to exit a crowded Popworld just two days earlier.
